Upon arriving, I found the hotel to be a cozy spot with traditional Japanese-style rooms, but it was a bit chilly initially. The bedroom upstairs was perfect for relaxing and sleeping comfortably. The service was prompt and helpful, especially with local restaurant recommendations, although there was a mix-up with the taxi booking. The location was extraordinary, right next to a beautiful temple and conveniently close to many attractions in Kyoto.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and well-designed, making it perfect for both relaxing and enjoying the view of the garden. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, situated in the beautiful Higashiyama district, close to major attractions and dining options. However, the dining experience was a bit limited, and the facilities, while adequate, could use some updates.
